In 2018, we were part of the Bankia Fintech third call by Innsomnia, in which we developed the GREEN project applied to solar pumping facilities (we replace conventional generation sources with solar irrigation systems) working hand to hand with the Bankia innovation team.We have an internal algorithm that allows converting the energy generated in tons of CO2 by certifying said conversion and transforming it into a digital asset, through the Stockmind tokenization platform developed by Bankia.
We have an audit report by Grant Thornton supporting the viability of the project and we carried out our first pilot project in Argamasilla de Alba (Ciudad Real) with a 17 KW installation that has been a success. Green B2E signed a collaboration agreement with Bankia for the commercialization of the project, which implies different sectors: agriculture, financing, renewable energy and digitalization.
With the project, we encourage to invest in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency while we manage to add the offer to access the secondary market for buying and selling CO2, kWh, etc. from renewable generation facilities. We introduced blockchain technology in different phases of the project and we have our own certification methodology registered in intellectual property and certified according to ISO 14064.
Our commitment to the environment and sustainability, through the experience acquired over the years, working in the renewable energy sector and developing projects of all types both in generation (wind, photovoltaic ... etc) and in demand (energy efficiency ), allowed us to bet on an innovative project that differentiated us from other companies in the sector.
The value proposal of the GREEN project can be extrapolated to all sectors of society, which are committed to the environment through the use of green energy. We value energy surpluses and CO2 savings by applying blockchain technology.
We provide added value to the savings of CO2 emissions, surplus kWh of energy generation facilities by means of isolated renewable energies or in self-consumption mode and we obtain that the companies (buyers) obtain rights over the tons of CO2 and / or kWh surplus of renewable generation facilities.
From there we have expanded the implementation in other areas and sectors, we were winners of the ECO Valencia project of the open Call of Alastria with the project of recovery of surplus KWh in generation facilities in the Port of Valencia and we are applying the same in the Industrial self-consumption facilities, one of our specialties.
We are exporting the GREEN project to other countries in Europe and Latin America that have been very interested in implementing our energy solutions in different companies and sectors, through a pioneering innovation project, which combines renewable energy with new technologies. We want to contribute to raising awareness about climate change and the use of renewable energy as one of the hallmarks of our company.
